Illiana Financial, based in Calumet City, Illinois was organized in 1936 as a cooperative financial institution.
The credit union needed a web presence to generate new members and serve existing ones. The credit union offers many products and services but had no way of reaching prospective members who use the internet. They also wanted to enable prospective members to apply for a membership online. To serve their existing members, they wanted to provide them with internet banking and the ability to apply for a loan online.
The interactive website designed by alligatortek gave Illiana a strong presence on the web and enables them to better compete with other major banks. The institution can obtain new and retain existing members that require a financial institution with an internet presence. The website also provides users with information such as current savings/checking/loan rates, online calculators, and credit union information. The website gives the credit union a solid presence on the web. It caters to prospective members and existing members.
Prospective members can apply to become member using the online membership application.
Existing members have access to online banking, enabling them to manage their accounts online and pay bills online. Members can also order new checks, order a new ATM card, and apply for loans.
